Depends on how good you are at programming to begin with. If your a fast learner and can understand the concept of Programming you may become a pro quickly.
The best way to learn is to start programming and to become as efficient as possible in designing and getting code to work. Being able to troublshoot and find compile errors is going to be something to learn as well.
